My painting practice is deeply rooted in my connection to our wild kin. Working primarily in acrylic and gouache on canvas, wood panels, or paper, I celebrate the curved edges, vibrant lighting, and perfectly imperfect patterns of nature.
Through abstraction, expressive strokes, lush palettes, and a dreamy logic, I aim to help humans reconnect emotionally with the wild world that, deep down, they have always been a part of.
Born and raised in Alaska, I recently moved to Morgantown, West Virginia, where I practice aerial arts, hang out with my cats, tend my native plant garden, and keep a painting studio at the Monongalia Arts Center.
